MAIN INTERVIEW | Salty Stories with the Zerphy's
Meet the Zerphy family, MarineMax customers since the year 2000. With their Navy background and affinity for leisure boating, these two know plenty about navigating the eastern seaboard.

Eric grew up boating on the Chesapeake, and Sabrina came up in a military family. They met in Annapolis at the Naval Academy. Sabrina selected Surface Warfare and served as a qualified line officer aboard USS Mount Baker (AE-34) and USNS Leroy Grumman (TAO-195.) Eric chose Nuclear Submarines and after nuclear power training and submarine school, served as a qualified line officer aboard USS Trepang (SSN-674) and USS Cheyenne (SSN-773.) They both graduated on 30 May of 1990, and of course, they had a "party" aboard Takara in Annapolis that afternoon!

They've spent a lifetime boating together and have owned various models, including a 1994 Sea Ray 200 OV, a 2003 Sea Ray 380 Sundancer, and a 2018 Galeon 430 HTC. They're currently boating aboard a 2021 Cruisers 46 Cantius named Echo Sierra. (Meaning end or expiration of service, or retirement as Translated from the military phonetic alphabet.) Their 25+ years of traveling have taken them from New Jersey down to Key West with many stops in between, and they have yet to make plans to dock permanently.
